For over twenty years I have built thousands of weather vanes and shipped them all over the world. I developed this design over the years to be sturdy, trouble free, and guaranteed for life. They are cut from 1/8" plate steel, about the thickness of two quarters, painted black and shipped in three parts. The roof mount, direction indicator, and the image on an arrow. They really work, pointing to the direction the wind is coming from. And they do it for years and years with little or no maintenance. This Bucking Salmon has been the most popular one by far, but I have made over a hundred and fifty different patterns of all types that can be incorporated into weather vanes.
